Yes, you must possess the following to be eligible to be enrolled on the course :
• Have a Level 3 or equivalent Motor Vehicle qualification
• Have a current and full UK driving licence for the vehicle classes to be tested
• Have at least four years full-time employment in the service and repair of the vehicle types to be tested and be a skilled technician
• Have no unspent convictions for criminal offences connected with the MoT testing scheme or the motor trade, or involving acts of violence or intimidation
• Be of ‘good repute’
No, but experience in the motor trade is recommended.
Both the Level 2 MoT Tester and Level 3 MoT Managers course require you to complete a 75 minute multiple choice exam.
Yes, we can arrange for your demonstration test to be carried out at one of our centres.
We’re usually running 3-4 courses a month; these are a mix of Level 2 MoT Tester and Level 3 MoT Manager courses.
Yes, you can resit the exam as often as you like. There is a charge of £150 + vat per resit if we come to you, or £50 + vat if you come to us.
Yes, but we limit the number of retries to three. Should you fail a third time you would be required to resit the entire course again. The observed test retries are charges at £150+vat.
Yes, if you have a suitable training room, a DVSA approved MoT bay for the class of vehicle and at least five eligible learners.
